Using a Minolta Vivid 300 non-contact optical scanner, we can now digitize a wide range of objects, hard or soft, living or inanimate. While optimized for scanning objects 6 to 36 inches, models of virtually any size can be digitized. This scanner is capable of capturing details as small as 1/16 of an inch, and works best with objects with low-contrast, non-reflective coloration.

Basic scanning produces polygonal mesh models compatible with most formats. Advanced services include NURBS conversion and texture mapping. Models are provided as water-tight, healed meshes or NURBS suitable for CNC and RP processes.
